Aello

Aello

AELLO was designed in 1919 and launched in Hamburg in 1921 by Max Oertz, probably the most famous German shipbuilder of his time. Her warm Teak wooden walls and floors keep the old age atmosphere and classic design. She accommodates six well in one master stateroom with an en suite shower, plasma TV, stereo, cd, radio and tape player, One double bed cabin with en suite bath and plasma TV and a double bunk cabin with an en suite bath. The salon is highlighted with original Art Deco lighting and fabulous skylights. The salon is equipped with a 42inch wide Screen plasma TV with state of the art sound system (Bose Surround sound) and DVD player with DVD library. There is a laptop available for the guest’s use. There is also a lovely classic bar and full library. With her ample deck, Aello has plenty of room to accommodate 12 people for a sit down meal or large parties for a cocktail or buffet. She is a yacht that turns heads in every port! She is staffed by a crew of 4-5.

Despite much apprehension of spending a week on water, the trip was delightful. The islands, weather and water were perfect. Our crew displayed gracious hospitality and incredible meals (thanks, Elen). Needless to say the children found the water sports great fun. We will have fond memories of Greece - the islands and the people.

Suggested Itineraries

At Valef Yacht charters we try to accommodate your sailing vacation requirements and desires with our six different suggested itineraries.

All weather patterns in Greece and Internationally are unpredictable. At certain times our office personnel and your captain may suggest an alternative itinerary to your first choice strictly for safety concerns and an effort to make your vacation cruise of Greece most enjoyable.

Suggested Greek island cruise itineraries are included in our sails bulletin and B/B catalogue. As a general guideline on mileage, see our map's scale and estimate an average sailing per day not exceeding 5 hours based on the speed of the yacht, to make your trip at leisure, cutting the actual speed by 25% due to currents, waves and winds, slowing the yacht.

The Itineraries:
