Welcome to Chalet Orgueil, your "home from home" in the heart of the Portes de Soleil. Our concept is boutique - to provide a high level of service in an intimate, laid-back and contemporary environment.

Our Chalet is conveniently situated in Essert Romand; close to the neighbouring ski resorts of Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets and Montriond. We offer skiers and non-skiers, families and groups alike, a memorable catered chalet ski-ing holiday.

Choose from our five individually decorated ensuite bedrooms, each with their own bath and shower. The chalet can accommodate up to 14 guests.

Indulge yourselves with our homely cuisine. Then socialise and unwind in our modern and spacious reception areas, or retire quietly to one of our cosy corners of the chalet - The choice is yours.

Chalet Orgueil enjoys a quiet and scenic location in the picturesque village of Essert Romand, only a five minute drive from the bustling and vibrant town centre of Morzine.

Designed and built by us, and brand new for the 2006/2007 ski season, Chalet Orgueil has been created with a high level of comfort in mind. We have chosen modern and bright décor to create a contemporary and informal ambience. Think colour accent walls, original paintings and squashy leather sofas.

Luxuriate in one of our five, individually furnished bedrooms. We’ve named them after the prettiest harbours in Jersey, and hope you enjoy the ambience we have endeavoured to create.

• Petit Port (double bed)
• Bonne Nuit (family suite – double bed, plus single if required, plus bunk room for two)
• La Rocque ( twin beds)
• Bouley Bay (twin beds)

Each bedroom is ensuite, with both bath and shower facilities. Our family suite has a bunk room within the main bedroom. Perfect for parents’ peace of mind and privacy. Additional beds in other rooms can be provided for children if required.

Location

Chalet Orgueil is located in the charming, chocolate-box village of Essert Romand. Relish the tranquil alpine environment – perfect for families seeking a quiet holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of town.

A mere stone’s throw away from the chalet is La Petite Auberge, the local café and restaurant. Wander up and enjoy a morning coffee on the terrace, or on our evening off (usually Wednesday) a typical Savoyarde meal. More information about the Chablais area can be found at Vallee d'aulps.

For those seeking a livelier environment, Morzine centre is a mere five minute drive away. Wander around the old town, explore the boutiques, or enjoy an après-ski aperitif in one of the many cafes and bars.

A further five minutes away is the enchanting ski resort of Les Gets. For skiers and non-skiers, this is a delightful town to explore.

If you decide to fly, we can arrange a reliable and comfortable return transfer from Geneva Airport - just let us know. Being only an hour and a half from the airport, Morzine is a perfect location for families with young children.
