The FranRick Lodge

A modern building with excellent facilities, FranRick Lodge was built approximately four years ago in traditional Alpine style. It is divided into five self-contained apartments, over three floors.

The Lodge is right at the heart of Vaujany, just 100m from the lifts and cable car. The brand new escalators - which have been installed to take you to the higher areas of the village, such as the shops and ice rink - are just two minutes' walk from us.

The ski hire shop we recommend is just beneath the Lodge – so you're never far away from hire and servicing facilities.

A free underground car park for 200 vehicles is located nearby, with even more free car parking just a short walk away.

Each apartment is comfortably furnished and has its own south-facing balcony with spectacular views of the Grandes Rousses mountains and the Fare waterfall. Many of the bedrooms have their own balcony with gorgeous views over the village and mountains.

And after a hard day on the slopes, why not take advantage of our sauna to sooth away your aches and pains. With bathrobes provided, all you have to do is relax!

Meals are taken in the Lodge dining room, which also has a large valley-facing balcony. However, if you'd prefer a more intimate mealtime, we can also serve your evening meal and wine in your own apartment.

Then you can just kick back and watch a movie on your apartment's DVD player … or maybe play cards, Jenga, and board games – all of which are provided for you.

All in all, the FranRick Lodge combines the fun of a traditional chalet holiday with the opportunity for quieter, more intimate,

moments – as and when you want them.

Each apartment in the FranRick Lodge is equipped with the following private facilities:

• TV, DVD player with CD player/stereo
• Tea and coffee making facilities, with complimentary tea and coffee provided
• A selection of fresh fruit, replenished throughout your stay
• A complimentary bottle of sparkling wine when you arrive
• A selection of board games and cards
• A well-equipped kitchenette, suitable for preparing your own sandwiches and snacks
• A microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher
• A selection of complimentary toiletries
• High quality Egyptian cotton towels which are changed mid-week
• An Egyptian cotton bathrobe for each person, for use during your stay
• A complimentary pair of cotton slippers for each person
• In the ski storage room, a lockable cupboard for the storage of skis and boots

To save your legs, we would be pleased to keep the fridge in your apartment stocked with a selection of alcoholic and/or soft drinks - this can be arranged at a very reasonable charge.

The following facilities are free for the use of all Lodge guests:

• An eight person sauna
• Wireless broadband internet access with a PC and printer
• A DVD and CD library to suit most tastes
• A paperback book library
• A video games player (Xbox) and a selection of games
• English language newspapers and magazines
• Travel cot, high-chair and baby monitoring facilities for use with infants (please let us know if you need these when you book)

The Apartments

FranRick Lodge is made up of five separate apartments. The smallest sleeps four people, and the largest, eight people.

Each apartment is self-contained, with its own facilities, and each has its own south-facing balcony with spectacular views across the valley. Many of the bedrooms also have their own balconies, as shown on the apartment descriptions.

There is plenty of storage space inside the apartments, and each has a separate lockable cupboard to store equipment in the ski room.

Living areas are open plan, with adjoining sitting area, kitchen and dining area.

Whilst bedrooms are not en-suite, each apartment does have its own private bathing and showering facilities.

Whilst standard chalet holiday packages can be wonderful, we wanted the holidays we offer to be even better...

We employ an experienced chef to provide great meals with great wine. We provide you with fine toiletries and a gorgeous bathrobe for use during your stay. Our accommodation, right in the heart of the resort, gives you both the privacy of your own apartment and the convivial atmosphere of an Alpine chalet.

Quite simply, our aim is to provide you with the high-quality holiday you have every right to expect.

We adopt a "can do" attitude at all times. Our staff are carefully selected and trained to ensure that you receive service that is friendly, professional and geared to your needs.

Individual approach

As a smaller company, we can take time to get to know our customers better and will treat you as an individual, not just a booking reference.

No hard sell

When you're on holiday with us, you'll find that we don't try to sell you lots of extras, such as pub crawls and karaoke nights - it's just not our style. We're happy to explain what is available locally and to make reservations, but we won't try to sell you something you don't want.
