Stanton Court Cottages are grouped around the Courtyard of the village's principal house which was built in the 16th century by Queen Elizabeth's Chamberlain. It is set in 5 acres of attractive gardens with well kept lawns, colourful borders and majestic trees. The large orchard is most spectacular in the spring, with a host of blossoming fruit trees and a carpet of daffodils. Garden Cottage

A first floor flat accommodating 6 or 7 people with access via an old stone stairway. There is a generous living room with a living flame gas fire and overlooking both the courtyard and the gardens. The dining area comprises an antique pine refectory table, Welsh dresser and Grandfather clock. The kitchen is fitted in light oak and has a fridge-freezer. There is one double bedroom with hand basin and two twin bedrooms, one with a hand basin, the other adjoins the bathroom. This cottage is ideal for families with younger children as there are no stairs once inside.
