Holiday Chalet in Chamonix

Chalet Rosas is a luxury, 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom chalet overlooking the traditional French village of Les Houches in the Chamonix valley. The chalet offers seclusion, great views of Mont Blanc and easy access to all amenities and Ski areas.

The chalet can be rented as fully catered or for Bed & Breakfast. In low season and during the summer the chalet is also available on a self catered basis. It can be rented weekly or for long weekends.

Prices start at £350pp. This price includes: accommodation for 7 nights, breakfast and afternoon tea for 6 days, evening dinner consisting of an aperitif, 3 courses cooked by a fully trained chef, coffee and unlimited wine and beer for 6 evenings.

The chalet

Chalet Rosas has recently been refurbished retaining traditional features with a contemporary feel. A  comfortable spacious lounge with an entertainment system and a cozy log fire, under floor heating throughout, en-suite bathrooms and spectacular views from wooden decking, make this chalet feel like home.

• Sleeps up to 12 people in 5 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms: 2 double bedrooms (each with en-suite bathroom), 3 twin bedrooms (each with en-suite bathroom), larger bedrooms have option of an additional single bed, double sofa bed in lounge

Entrees

• Wild mushroom open ravioli on rocket with carrot and mascarpone cappuccino sauce and fresh parmesan
• Tempura style aubergine stack with grilled buffalo mozzarella and a roast garlic and tomato sauce
• Chèvre Chaud- baked goats cheese pots with old fashioned cheese straws
   

Mains

• Lamb shanks on parsnip and celeriac mash with redcurrant and rosemary jus and fine green beans
• Grilled snapper on sautéed tumeric potatoes, wilted spinach and roasted cherry tomato sauce
• Braised duck legs on white bean cassoulet with crispy pancetta and Savoy cabbage

Desserts

• Peach and Vanilla bean pannacotta with crushed raspberries
• White chocolate and banana bread and butter pudding with butterscotch sauce
• Individual apple crumbles with vanilla ice cream and crème Anglaise
