Peaceful, comfortable and spacious villa with three twin bedded rooms and spectacular views to the sea.
 

This spacious, south facing, stone-clad house was built to a high specification by the present owner, an interior designer, for her family's use. It is situated on a hillside overlooking almond orchards and down a wooded valley to the sea. It is built on two levels with four large terraces leading off the main rooms on the south side and off the kitchen to the east. The shared pool is 2-3 minutes' walk from the villa. Please note that the house is unsuitable for children under 4 due to the open plan spiral staircase.

The house is lovely, well maintained and with a beautiful view across almond orchards to the village which is ten minutes' walk away. There is excellent swimming from beaches and rocks, the closest being a 6 km drive from the villa.

Accommodation

Living Room:
The Living Room is open plan with the kitchen/dining room at a higher level. This has a dining table and seating for six. There is an open fire (see photograph for layout), comfortable sofa and armchairs, CD player and radio. The French doors lead to the top terrace.
 

Bedroom 1 - spacious with sea views from windows to the floor. Twin/double bed and large wardrobes.
Bathroom ensuite - with bath/shower over, wc, bidet.
 

Bedroom 2 - twin beds and French doors leading to the extensive middle terrace.
Shower Room ensuite - shower, basin in vanitary unit, wc.
 

Bedroom 3 - twin beds and French doors also leading to the extensive middle terrace.
 

Bathroom - bath, wc, bidet.
 

Cleaning:
The property is cleaned and towels and linen changed between tenancies.

Outside

All the bedrooms and the living room lead onto or overlook the terraces and garden. The kitchen leads onto the east facing terrace.

 

There are numerous lie-abouts, hammocks, garden and dining chairs and two dining tables on the different terraces. One of the dining tables and another of the terraces are under partial shade. There is also an outside shower.


 

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is 10m. x 4m. It is located in a sheltered position and is not overlooked. The pool is shared between 7 houses - though mostly one finds one has it to oneself. The other houses are to the west and do not overlook the villa.
 

Beach

The closest sandy beach is a 6 km drive, and there are many other sandy and rocky beaches in the vicinity.

Golf

There are many excellent golf courses and one of the best in Majorca is situated at Santa Posa 10 minutes' drive away.
 

Travel

Palma Airport is a 30 minute drive away and a hire car is essential. This can be arranged for guests by the owner. The village of Capdella is a 10 minute walk away.

About the area

The village of Capdella, ten minutes' walk from the villa, is a charming and unspoilt village with two excellent supermarkets and a restaurant/bar which serves delicious food.

There is a market in Calvia (4km from the villa) on a Monday. The area is well known for walking and riding. There are excellent tennis courts in Calvia and diving, water skiing and sailing facilities in Palma Nova and Andraitx.
