Med Point

Med Point is an Eleuthera Bahamas vacation rental home, located ON Casuarina Beach, and around the corner from world-famous Club Med Beach (see above picture). If you are looking for a vacation rental villa in a spectacular location, Med Point is for you. It was designed for couples. It has reefs directly offshore, for excellent snorkeling and scuba diving. The beaches are half-moon, pink sand beaches, and are very isolated and secluded, yet Med Point is only one mile from the center of Governors Harbour, with its restaurants, bars, banks, grocery stores, as well as internet access at the Haynes Public Library. The house itself was designed to be the perfect vacation rental; it has large sliding glass doors all around, so you can see, smell, and hear the ocean all over the house, twenty four hours a day. If you want to immerse yourself in the beach and ocean, Med Point is the place for you!

LOCATION

The Bahamas is an archipelgo, just east of Florida; the main islands are New Providence (Nassau), Grand Bahama (Freeport), the Abacos, and Eleuthera, where Med Point is located.

Eleuthera is a long, skinny island, known for its many deserted pink sand beaches and friendly people. The capital is Governors Harbour. Med Point is a mile from Governors Harbour.

Med Point is located about 6 miles south of Governors Harbour Airport on the Atlantic side, about a mile outside of the capital of Eleuthera, Governors Harbour. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, liquor stores, a library with high speed cable internet, banks with ATM, restaurants, sandwich shops, and other usual small town amenities..

The below Sky Picture shows how isolated Med Point is, yet accessible to Governors Harbour, and its proximity to the world famous Club Med Beach. Note that there are NO buildings between Med Point and Club Med Beach.

The below pictures shows the great location of MedPoint, on Casuarina Beach, and a short beach stroll to Club Med Beach, and Twin Cove Beach. Tear Cay will, no doubt, be a great place to fish, as well as dock the kayaks.

Note the reefs offshore from Med Point. They are within swimming distance. Some of the best fishing on the island is off these reefs. The reefs also provide an almost constant view of whitecaps from Med Point, as one looks out to sea.
