How
to use sNOWshYou can use sNOWsh to find accommodation for your holiday. There are two ways to search, use the keyword search at the top of every page, or use the sNOWsh search at the home page.
Our listings are organised using keyword tags. When our members add items to sNOWsh they also include these keyword tags to help sNOWsh organise things better. The keyword search looks at these tags. So if you search for "Ski" you will have a list of results that also include "Ski" in their tags. You can use multiple words in the keyword search. "chalet sauna" will return a list of chalets that have saunas. You can include place names to narrow your search, for example "chalet alps sauna catered" will return a list of chalets in the alps with a catered service and a sauna. These properties will be at the top of the result list, we then return other results that meet some search terms, but not others. The most relevant results will be at the top. The keyword search does not look for specific dates. If you are looking for specific dates, use the sNOWsh search.
As simple as simple can be! Select the country you are looking for, then the region, then the town / resort. Further narrow your search by selecting the dates you are looking for and the number of guests in your party. If you don't know the region, but know the town name, try a keyword search first, all results will include the name of the country and region. For example if you search for "Chamonix", the result will show you that it is in the country France, and that the region is Haute Savoie.
Perhaps you know the dates you can travel, but have no idea where you want to go! You can leave the country, region and town / resort drop downs set to search all. This search form is very flexible, and will lead you to lots of interesting places to visit. All the results feature links to more information about the places. You can even search for your holiday through images. If you see a nice photograph in the places pages, try clicking on it, it will lead you to the property that added the photograph in the first place.
